I hate reading, but I was hearing a lot of hype about it and decided to look into it. I was not disappointed, from the time I read the first 10 pages it was on. I even bought a copy foot my girlfriend and Co worker. They also couldn't put it down. This book is truly a book of life, it hits you in all directions. Enough of taking about get you own copy and you will fall in love with it.
This is an excellent book, it's just amazing the things we have to go through, for us to surrender or turn our Lives over to God.I went to Tessa's book signing, purchased the book, on a Sunday afternoon, the book was so interesting,I only put it down to go get a snack ,or go to the bathroom, finished it the same night, you can't go wrong, by getting it, When we walk in darkness God can bring us into the light.
I don't read books much, but this book is one that I could not put down until finished. I thank the author for sharing her story and touching the lives of other women that went through life's struggle also. Not only am I proud to say I read the book, it was a honor to work with her and be touched by her caring spirit. If you haven't read this book, I recommend you read it. When I say that this book has touch me in so many different ways will just be an understatement. God will encourage someone to tell their story so people could know we all go through things, but Tressa Mitchener testifies that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that only you,with God help, can seek it. A life changing story! Planned to read it over the weekend, however I read the entire book in a couple of hours! I couldn't put it down. Just what I needed! I love the way it was written in a way I could relate to my personal life. I also like the way she incorporated Scripture. I realize the Word work in our lives even when we do not realize it and all things, either good or bad, will work for your good! This book tells just that!! ~Romans 828~
Truly an inspiration. Tressa says it like it is, and to think when you are at your lowest, and finally realize God is there for you, and what he can do is a miracle. Faith in God has made this woman an awesome person. She is truly a living sestament of what Our Lord can do.
I purchased this book,never been one for reading.But when I read the outside cover,I new it would be a very uplifting testimony. I started reading the first few pages ,and I said I am gonna read a couple of more pages and that will be it. I just couldn't stop there, before I knew it I had almost finished the entire book. This was one awesome book.. I really enjoyed reading this book.There were a lot of encouraging words and scriptures that up lifted me. You deserve 5 stars for this book!! Be blessed
